Ahem…yikes!

Next time that neighborhood dog chases you yet again on your morning bike commute, take heart — at least you aren’t having to fight off a Komodo dragon on your way to work.

Scuba divers swept 20 miles by currents survived 12 hours in shark-infested waters and then scrambled onto a remote Indonesian island — where they fought off a Komodo dragon, a port official said.

According to Times wire reports, the divers, three from Britain, one from France and one from Sweden, pelted the giant carnivorous lizard on Rinca island with rocks and pieces of wood.

I love how they got out of shark-infested waters only to find themselves threatened by a giant carnivorous lizard. “Oh, and the rescue plane is carrying giant anacondas and a hive of killer bees. Put your luggage in the overhead compartments and don’t make any sudden moves.”
